Cellular service is also available on both vessels and can be used within three to five kilometers of a port with cellular service. At this time, both vessels have access to the Punta Arenas and Talcahuano, Chile cellular service. The Nathaniel B. Palmer also has cellular access in Lyttelton, New Zealand.
