Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics (AIL) Section Has Announced Two Vacancies

A logistics manager and a transportation manager: The logistics manager oversees logistical and operational support systems needed to maintain and improve U.S. Antarctic Program infrastructure and to enable Program-supported science. The transportation manager oversees intercontinental airlift and sealift operations for the U.S. Antarctic Program.

Research on Sexual Harassment and Other Forms of Harassment in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Contexts

A recent "Dear Colleague Letter" (DCL) stresses that NSF-as the nation's primary federal funder of basic science and engineering research-welcomes and supports competitive, peer-reviewed research proposals that advance fundamental knowledge about the nature and underlying dynamics of sexual and other forms of harassment, and mechanisms for evaluating harassment prevalence, prevention, and responses, in a range of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education, research, and workplace settings.

OPP's Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics (AIL) section has announced two vacancies: a logistics manager and a transportation manager. The Antarctic Sciences Section in Polar Programs announces a nationwide search for an Antarctic Astrophysics and Geospace Sciences Program (AAGS) program director. Formal consideration of applications will begin on April 15, 2019 and will continue until a selection is made.
