The Inner Space Center (ISC), located at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography, is a one-of-a-kind national facility that supports live ocean exploration through telepresence technology.

At 7PM Eastern on Monday, Oct. 28, ISC will hold a Facebook Live event with researchers aboard the R/V Laurence M. Gould, one of two vessels chartered by the NSF-managed U.S. Antarctic Program.

Information on Antarctic scientific research, including research on penguins and ocean technologies, will be shared, and participants will be able to ask questions of polar scientists.
